Building on the success of the IntelliSHOT Camera, Vaddio recently launched its ConferenceSHOT ePTZ Camera engineered for the future of small and portable collaboration spaces.

“The new ConferenceSHOT ePTZ camera solves our customers’ dilemma that they can’t find wide-angle cameras that provide professional image quality or offer the remote management features their customers want,” said Paul Cords, Director of Product Management at Vaddio, a brand of Legrand | AV.

“We developed the ConferenceSHOT ePTZ based on our unique IntelliFrame motion tracking technology. The ability to customize the auto-framing experience based on the environment, as well as mask out hallways and glass walls from the auto-framer, makes the ConferenceSHOT ePTZ an ideal solution for small and medium sized conference rooms,” said Cords. “With the wide-angle field of view and built-in microphone, it is proving to be a great option for huddle spaces as well.”

The versatile ConferenceSHOT ePTZ USB camera has a wide 129° field of view. The impressive built-in microphone is convenient when mounting the ConferenceSHOT ePTZ on mobile display carts, huddle rooms, or personal workspaces. The small camera is equally suited to large areas where social distancing is required, and teams want to ensure everyone is still in the camera’s view.

“We added an audio I/O on the camera because we know that sometimes there just isn’t a budget to revamp mics and speakers in every room. We can take in that existing audio source and combine it with our video stream to provide a single USB connection, crucial for a simple Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) meeting room,” said Cords. “We’ve done everything we can to make BYOD meetings easy, and the auto-framing experience brings it to another level.”

The camera comes with a wall mount that allows the camera to tilt up and down to ensure proper framing of the conference table. It has a USB 3.0 Type C port, HDMI, and audio I/O to easily integrate with existing room audio systems. The camera also has built-in RTSP and RTMP streaming capabilities for one-button streaming to popular services like YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Vimeo and more.

“The camera is plug and play with Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex and others,” said Cords. “We have been making professional-grade USB cameras for over a decade now. With the competitive price point of this new camera, we look forward to more teams experiencing the quality and ease of using Vaddio products.”
