If you’re looking for the best beaches in Mexico, you might head to Tulum. If it’s the best Mayan ruins you’re after, then Chichen Itza should be at the top of your list. And if you are in the market for audiovisual integration services, then Artcoustix in Mexico City is the best place to start.
Founded in 1998 as a Sony and Panasonic distributor, Artcoustix has expanded into a full-service AV integration firm focused on installing comprehensive systems all across Mexico. The mission of the company, said Héctor Vázquez Sánchez Aldana, Project Manager with Artcoustix, is to “directly address the needs of clients in every sector and market through custom made AV solutions, from project conception through commissioning.”
And now, as a member of the PSNI Global Alliance, Artcoustix can take that mission to any project anywhere in the world.
Artcoustix Helps Companies Invest in AV Technology to Support Them Today and in the Future
Artcoustix’s areas of expertise include audio services such as live sound, equipment configuration, and audio conferencing; video services such as digital signage, video conferencing spaces, closed-circuit television, and video walls; VOIP services including structured cabling; and, control and engineering services including automation.
In the 24 years since Artcoustix opened its doors with a staff of 15 people, the company has completed more than 800 projects for more than 1,000 customers in Mexico and beyond. Since joining PSNI a year ago, some of those projects have been completed with partners including Newtech, Grupo Covix, and Diversified.
And Héctor said he doesn’t anticipate that growth slowing down any time soon, either.
“I think Mexico has great opportunity, since the technology available out there is a few years ahead of where a lot of companies in Mexico are,” he said. “Companies here are investing in their facilities and want new technological solutions. Besides that, every industry is growing here because Mexico is considered the best place to establish headquarters for companies that want to enter the Latin American markets.”
PSNI Affiliates Around the World Inspire Each Other to Excel
From AV installations for national museums to large corporate clients such as American Express and Microsoft, Artcoustix has made a good name for itself in Mexico City and across the country. But while there is plenty of work to go around in Mexico, becoming a PSNI affiliate has also helped Artcoustix take a more global approach to their business—and be inspired by the work of their fellow PSNI Global Alliance members.
“Our first PSNI meeting was so memorable for Artcoustix,” Héctor said. “It took place on another continent, and it was a big step for the company. It was especially great to see the presentations from other integrators. It was incredible to see all the projects they worked on.”
