When it comes to audiovisual and IT solutions, BIS|Econocom practices what they preach. The company’s five offices, located throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, all feature the very solutions they recommend for customers in industries including corporate, education, government and health care.

“We have super exciting, absolutely great facilities where all our solutions and our complete portfolio can be demonstrated in full detail,” said Jean Pierre Overbeek, CEO of BIS|Econocom.

And those solutions and capabilities are always growing.

“I am truly passionate about audio, IT, and media technology and its influences on people and processes in a business environment,” Jean Pierre said. “We are always looking for innovative products, solutions, and concepts that really contribute to the realization of the goals of our customers.”

AV-as-a-Service Model Makes the AV Industry’s Future Bright

To better help customers meet those goals, BIS|Econocom divides their main competencies into eight categories:

  • AV-as-a-Service
  • Collaboration
  • Digital Signage
  • Workplace Management
  • LED Solutions
  • Interior Solutions
  • Conferencing & Webcasting
  • Managed Services

As the global pandemic has pushed more and more companies into remote and virtual work environments, all the services offered by BIS|Econocom and other AV integrators have become more critical, Jean Pierre said.

“The future of the AV industry is quite bright,” he said. “In the recent past, the digital transformation and integration of audiovisual solutions for collaboration, digital signage, and workplace management were a nice-to-have for many companies. And though more and more companies were convinced of the power, possibilities and advantages of modern AV & IT technology in the last decade, the novel coronavirus pandemic has opened their eyes and their minds to understand that they need our solutions to be able to build a sustainable future for themselves and their business partners. Our technology has become a necessity.”

And that is especially true of the AV-as-a-Service model.

“The possibility to offer our solutions as-a-service makes the future of the audiovisual world even brighter,” Jean Pierre said. “AV-as-a-Service offers the certainty, flexibility, and scalability many companies are looking for. It is at the heart of the don’t-buy-it-use-it trend.”

That option is particularly critical in this moment for companies that need to scale up their AV capabilities quickly but don’t have the budget for a significant outlay of cash upfront.
