Tierney Brothers, Inc., an award-winning provider of interactive technology solutions, is committed to creating communications environments that help people be productive anytime, anywhere. That includes integrated solutions for K-12 education, collaborative learning tools for higher education, engaging meeting spaces for corporate clients, and customized and secure AV systems for government agencies.

But what are Tierney integrators doing when they are not installing cameras, mics, and displays? They are getting up-to-date training and certifications and staying on top of the latest AV trends thanks to their membership in the PSNI Global Alliance.

As a PSNI affiliate, the Minneapolis, Minn.-based company has completed three projects with PSNI partners. Opportunities to collaborate with other affiliates is one of the highlights of their PSNI membership. “It’s great to hear about all of the things PSNI is doing to help the members work together more efficiently and hear about examples of success stories that other members have,” said Rob Gag, CEO for Tierney. “And the more we work with other PSNI affiliates the more opportunities we have to learn from our colleagues and create our own new success stories.”

The Right Partners Deliver the Best Customer Experiences

Membership in the PSNI Global Alliance helps Tierney fulfill all the parts of their mission: providing exceptional customer experiences, leading with quality, taking care of their employees, and always doing the right thing. The AV technology solutions Tierney provides solve their clients’ most critical communications and collaboration challenges, and partnerships with other PSNI affiliates allow them to provide those solutions anywhere in the world.

Standards Are the Future of AV Integration and Tierney Is Ready

Tierney employees hold more than 20 CTS certifications. The company is also Extron certified, APEX certified, ANSI accredited, as well as being a Clevertouch Global Partner of the Year and an AQAV commercial member. The company delivers AV projects according to the highest industry standards, and when they work with other PSNI members, they have the confidence that their partners follow those standards as well.

As AV increasingly incorporates more complex elements, such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and more frequent IT integrations, adhering to standards and reliable processes will become more important than ever, Rob said. While stricter requirements might make it harder for some integrators to find the right partners, Tierney can team up with any PSNI affiliate and have confidence that their established processes will be followed, and their high standards will be met.

“The future of AV will see audiovisual and IT products working flawlessly together, but that takes reliable, consistent integration standards. Luckily, that is what every PSNI member delivers,” Rob said. “Every employee at our customers’ locations will be able to walk into a room and feel confident using the technology. Together with our PSNI partners, we can help customers implement the right solutions the right way.”
