If the real test of success is whether or not you can repeat it, then Australian integrator SKS Technologies (a subsidiary of Enevis Ltd.) is passing with flying colors. Last year, the company enjoyed a 93 percent rate of repeat business, said chief operating officer Matthew Jinks, and they are hoping to keep building on that number.
“With the vision and experience to pioneer audiovisual installation solutions, SKS Technologies has created a ‘one company, one complete solution’ approach for our customers,” said Matthew. “With over 40 years of experience in the electrical, audiovisual, and communications industry, we support customers’ complex and ultra-specialized projects with friendly and experienced staff including project managers, engineers, and industry certified technicians. This ensures our installations are of the highest quality.”
SKS Technologies’ Comprehensive AV Installations Keep Customers Coming Back
SKS Technologies’ high-quality AV installations are everywhere, from boardrooms to stadiums, retail outlets to airport lounges, lecture halls, and beyond. Their projects include comprehensive on-site commissioning and training, as well as post-installation support services. Some examples of their recent work include:
- An upgrade to the Victorian State Library, the oldest and most historic library in Australia. SKS Technologies supplied and installed all aspects of the audiovisual, public address, and digital signage systems, including a large-scale video wall and recording studio systems.
- All aspects of the AV system for the brand-new, state-of-the-art Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital, including an interactive video wall in the main entrance of the hospital and all the technology for the operating theater room systems.
- An AV installation at the advanced Simonds Stadium, the home ground of the Australian Rules Football club the Geelong Cats. Included in the project was a complete audiovisual system, encompassing modern digital techniques for team sport review and analysis, as well as the stadium’s MATV, public address, digital signage, and broadcast service systems.
Since becoming a member of the PSNI Global Alliance in early 2019, SKS Technologies has collaborated with fellow members HB Communications and Spinitar, and the company looks forward to more opportunities for collaboration.
“SKS Technologies is very excited about the opportunities that being part of such a prestigious network of like-minded businesses from around the globe can bring,” Matthew said. “Knowledge sharing on a global scale is unique within the industry and something that we, as a company, find benefits not only our business but the entire PSNI network.”
PSNI Members Support Each Other to Meet Changing Customer Needs
PSNI members can also support each other and adapt together as the audiovisual landscape—and the needs of customers—change, Matthew said. Introducing innovative tools to meet new needs can help businesses move forward with confidence—and instills a sense of confidence in AV integrators that keeps customers coming back again and again.
“With the state of the world at the moment, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a major shift to working from home and maintaining social distancing rules,” Matthew said. “The need is fast arising for the design of office collaboration space to be in line with social distancing practices. With the use of Microsoft Teams and other collaboration applications, it is easier now than ever to connect people all over Australia and the world, as more and more people use these applications with confidence.”
